We're so excited to announce the arrival of our Winter Capsule (Issue 08) and there's so much going on we thought we need to give you guys an update!
First and foremost, we need to say a big THANK YOU to all our wonderful customers who are making Issue Clothing Co possible - we are so grateful to you all and really honestly appreciate your ongoing support and friendly thank you emails! It's not easy being a small business and trying to do big things - so we LOVE when we get messages from you guys.
We are constantly working to make shopping for your capsule wardrobe easier for you. Our product is #1 - we have been working night and day to get you the best product at the best price to make it possible to keep your capsule wardrobe tidy, versatile and affordable. We design and make it here in NZ so that we can get the exact fit and quality that we know is important to you all, and it's important to us that everything is made ethically. At our current size, the only way we can control that is by making right here where the labour laws ensure fair treatment of workers, and a fair wage, and we are proud to be New Zealand made - supporting other local businesses!
Our Autumn-Winter Collection is made up of Issue 07 and 08, which you can now mix and match with each other, and our essentials pieces, to build your own capsule. These two capsules are full of high quality, hard wearing pieces. We have been working on more versatility for those of you who are in a less corporate work place, but still want to have a capsule wardrobe. We have also been working on easy care options, particularly shirts and blouses to ensure that you don't have to fuss about with dry-cleaning, etc. These changes are in response to your feedback - we can only get better when we hear from you, so keep the comments coming!
Our service is also a huge priority for us. We have launched the Capsule Concierge Service which is where we can help you build a custom capsule that's right for your body shape, work place and personal style. This has been very successful, and we love taking the hassle out of your capsule wardrobe shopping. We are also happy to help via Facebook message or email if that's your preferred way to contact us. So please, never hesitate to reach out as we are always very happy to hear from and enjoy helping you with whatever questions you may have.
Events - we are trying to secure as many pop-up shops as we can to get out to you all and make it possible to shop in person, as we know that many you like to meet us, and try on all the options. Our next pop up is at Finders Keepers Market in Brisbane in June. If you're in the area please come by and see us; we will be there with lots of goodies! If you can't make it to one of our events, our complimentary shipping & returns policy means that there is no risk to ordering online. We aim to make it as easy, and convenient, as possible for you.
Our next capsule release will be our Spring-Summer Capsule (Issue 09). This will be a combined capsule to allow for better build your own options and to ensure you can get ready for the warm weather earlier in the season. This capsule will be coming August-September. In the meantime, keep your eyes out for the new pieces that we'll be adding to our Essentials Collection in the coming months. Shortly, we will be showcasing a day in the life of Issue Clothing Co on our social channels, to show you what we do on a day to day basis.
